By booking or participating in any services provided by Clare Larkin at Clare Francis Dog Support, you agree to these Terms of Service.

1. Service Overview

Clare Francis Dog Support provides online, force-free dog behaviour support.

The online support package includes:

  • One 1:1 Zoom consultation (approximately [insert length: 60 - 75 minuites)

  • A personalised written training plan

  • One month of follow-up support via email (from the date of the Zoom session)

2. Training Philosophy & Methods

Clare Francis Dog Support practices and advocates exclusively for kind, force-free, reward-based training methods.

The use of aversive training techniques or equipment including but not limited to shock collars, prong collars, choke chains, physical punishment, or intimidation-based methods is not supported.

Where such equipment or methods are currently being used, they must be discontinued in order to work together.

Clare Francis reserves the right to decline or discontinue services if training approaches conflict with this philosophy.

The welfare and emotional safety of the dog will always remain the priority.

3. Payment

  • Full payment is required in advance to secure your booking.

  • Payment confirms acceptance of these Terms of Service.

  • Sessions are non-refundable once delivered.

4. Cancellations & Rescheduling

  • A minimum of 48 hours’ notice is required to reschedule a Zoom session.

  • Cancellations with less than 48 hours’ notice may result in forfeiture of the session fee.

  • In cases of illness or emergency, rescheduling will be offered where possible.

  • In the unlikely event that Clare Francis must cancel a session due to illness or emergency, the session will be rescheduled at the earliest convenient time, or a full refund will be offered if a suitable alternative cannot be arranged.

5. Client Responsibility & Liability

Clients remain fully responsible for the handling, management, and safety of their dog at all times.

  • All training guidance is implemented at the client’s discretion and risk.

  • Clare Francis Dog Support provides expertise, education, and written plans; guardians are responsible for how guidance is applied.

  • While every effort is made to provide safe and thoughtful guidance, Clare Larkin and Clare Francis Dog Support cannot be held responsible for issues that arise from how guidance is applied, except in rare cases where the law says otherwise.

All dogs remain the responsibility of their guardian at all times.

6. Veterinary & Medical Disclaimer

Behavioural concerns may sometimes have an underlying medical cause.

Clare Francis Dog Support may recommend a veterinary assessment before or alongside training.

Training advice does not replace veterinary diagnosis or treatment.

7. No Guarantees

Behaviour change is influenced by many factors, including consistency, environment, stress levels, health, and guardian participation.

While every effort is made to provide thoughtful and evidence-based expertise, specific behavioural outcomes cannot be guaranteed.

8. Confidentiality & Data Protection

All personal information shared during consultations will be kept confidential and handled in accordance with UK data protection legislation.
